About 1.8% - now that Trump forced the FDA to approve the best available treatment it should go even lower - and really only kill those that were severely immuno suppressed - could solve the ventilator problem too if these people don't deteriorate and never progress to that stage

could of done a better job of managing this crisis , providing
empathy, and keeping the country accurately informed. He

A bit early to take a victory lap...not even to halfway mark on this stuff. Also, are we supposed to now applaud an individual for showing empathy?? I mean it's a pretty standard trait that every human should have daily. I guess it would be a bit distorted when looking at Trump though. Quite amazing it took him 4 years to show empathy for the first time. How some can't see his Ant-Social Personality Disorder live in action 100% of the time is baffling to me. He's not looking out for your interests AT ALL. Only His...and his behs. are clinical to a staggering & severe degree. Unless you are in the top 10-15% of the Wealthiest in America, you are only hurting yourself in supporting him. If you are in the top 10-15% of the 'Elite', you are teetering on character traits that are the most troubling in society.

I simply cannot understand how someone could logically support Trump. Or believe what they are hearing on mainstream Media who are all owned by Billion dollar corporations guiding what news to release & what news to withhold. As citizens, we must start to know the Truth as to how the world really operates, not what we are being told.

I support his policies 100%. You can dislike his approach but support his policies. I'm in that camp.

I'd offer the people that make less money should work hard to make more money.

All those in the poorest countries in the world have little to no chance to make much more....

This is just another stat haters of the 1% want to throw out there...it’s dumb

Hell, Bull24 is probably worth more than entire villages in the Congo

These wealth distribution weirdos frustrate me. Guys that make more money, make more money for a reason. People that make less, make less for a reason. What you can't do is just take money from a guy because he worked hard to make more and donate it to a scrub who hasn't done what they need to do to make more.

I agree.

What frustrates me is how people take advantage (and teach by example to their kids) of government assistance.

Why work harder when you can get as much to stay at home?

Why vote for someone telling you to go to work when another guy keeps saying free, free, free...

Willie and others have stated it well, this has been going on for 50 years and it won’t get better anytime soon.

Why does every thread here turn into a Trump love-hate thread?

What are the percentages of people affected/dead given the overall population?

I believe Trump has had little affect one way or the other.
Americans and Canadians need to look in the mirror and ask themselves "am I being responsible?"

In Toronto on the weekend there were people going to dog parks and play grounds that were closed. Signs and or taped off. People simply ignored these. These people are to blame for much of our problems.

Don't disagree with the first sentence, but do disagree with the final one. Why do you feel it's such a problem for people to be outside if they are distancing themselves? I'm not exactly a fan of the "nanny state" type control and think part of this thing is just a power grab. Admittedly, I'm amazed at how some people are so quick to freely give up their freedoms.

Cutting off China was huge and unpopular early on - touting cloroquine was huge - it's saving thousands of deaths - without Trump cheerleading for it - doctors were reluctant to use it - and FDA would still be pending - fake news doesn't tell you this but if you are positive and you develop symptoms you immediately go a z-pack and cloroquinine - as usual - we do not have enough of it though

Do you think Schumer and Pelosi were showing much empathy holding out for Green New Deal initiatives while Americans were worried about how they were going to survive ? Or was putting the microscope only on Trump your aim ?
